We are AdventureRooms Cyprus! We’re an immersive adventure company that designs, builds, and operates interactive experiences. We’re known for our puzzle and escape room adventures located in Nicosia. Come try them out!
AdventureRooms is a real-life escape the room game that was started in March 2012 as a high school project by Gabriel Palacios, a science teacher, in Bern, Switzerland. It is considered one of the pioneers of the new game concept and is one of the most famous escape games worldwide. Its main influences were adventure computer games from the 1990s.
The scientific character of its games and the movie-like experience distinguishes AdventureRooms games from similar games. Another innovation was the introduction of "duels", where two teams can play the same game at the same time against each other. This game option is used for larger groups and is currently available in our own AdventureRooms Cyprus!
2013 was the year AdventureRooms started to offer a franchising system, and the company quickly spread around the globe. By July 2016 there were thirty-three active AdventureRooms locations worldwide. The average escape rate amounts to about 20%.

try something different
When possible, we push ourselves to try something different. Being different is risky, but an “escape room” is pretty different in and of itself, so I guess we’re staying on theme! Our adventures tend to be quirky and whimsical, and we wouldn’t want them any other way.
As players, we encourage you to try something different! Our puzzle rooms aren’t your typical escape rooms… we’ve got some fun surprises we’re excited to show you. Of course, when you’re stuck on that one pesky puzzle, don’t forget to try something different.
